Potapota Yaki is one of Japan's most nostalgic rice cracker snacks, first launched by Kameda Seika back in 1896. The name comes from the sound of sweet soy sauce being drizzled — "pota, pota" — onto each crisp, light rice cracker before baking, giving it a signature sweet-and-savory flavor and a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth crunch.

Known affectionately as "Grandma's Potapota Yaki," the package has featured a warm, smiling grandmother illustration since its very first release — a symbol of comfort passed down through generations. In 2023, the character was freshly illustrated by acclaimed Japanese picture-book artist Shinsuke Yoshitake, bringing a charming new look to this beloved classic.

Made with no added MSG, each pack contains 20 crackers individually wrapped in pairs (10 packs of 2), perfect for sharing or enjoying a little at a time. A comforting, homestyle treat loved by both kids and adults across Japan for over a century.
