Thank you for shopping at Astoness Nippon, operated by Astoness Japan Corp. (Japan). We supply authentic Japanese products to customers around the world. Please read this policy before purchasing.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within the withdrawal period and return the goods without undue delay.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products listed in Section 2 or to any other products excluded from withdrawal rights under applicable law.

Customers are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

2. Non-returnable items

For health, hygiene, safety, or product nature reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Food and beverages
  • Dietary supplements
  • Cosmetics, personal care products, and hygiene-related products where the seal has been broken after delivery
  • Perishable goods or goods with a short shelf life
  • Custom-made, personalized, or made-to-order items
  • Any other products that are exempt from withdrawal or return rights under applicable law

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we recommend contacting us within 7 days of delivery and providing your order number and photographs of the issue.

If the issue is confirmed, we will provide a replacement, refund, or another appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

4. Returns process

To request a return, please contact us through our contact form and provide your order number, product name, a description of the issue, and photographs where applicable.

Please wait for our return authorization and instructions before sending any items back. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Returned items should be securely packaged and include all accessories, manuals, inserts, and original packaging where applicable.

Unless the return is due to our error, you are responsible for all costs associated with the return, including return shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and any other related costs. The customer bears the risk of loss or damage until the returned goods are received by us.

Returns must be sent to the address designated by Astoness Japan Corp.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will determine whether the return qualifies for a refund, replacement, or other remedy under this policy and applicable law.

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase within approximately 7–14 business days. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, or financial institution involved.

Original shipping charges, return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and similar charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, such as an incorrect, damaged, or defective item.

If a replacement is requested and available, we will arrange shipment after confirming the claim.

6. Cancellations

All orders are final once placed and cannot be cancelled, modified, or combined with other orders after submission. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

7. Lost or delayed shipments

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

If your parcel does not arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us. We will investigate the shipment with the carrier and may request additional time for the carrier’s investigation process.

If the shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will, at our discretion, provide a replacement shipment or a refund. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures, carrier disruptions, weather conditions, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Business customers (B2B orders)

Orders placed by companies, organizations, institutions, resellers, distributors, or other business customers are not subject to consumer withdrawal rights.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all B2B sales are final. Returns, refunds, replacements, and claims relating to B2B orders are handled in accordance with the applicable contract and relevant law.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
